Cel mai popular tracker din Romania filelist.io se inchide dupa 16 ani de activitate.

In urmă cu o oră și jumătate adică la ora 17:00 Owner-ul EboLLa a postat un anunț pe Filelist că acesta va renunța la tracker.

Dragilor,
Îmi pare rău că trebuie să vă adresez acest anunț, însă aici se încheie activitatea trackerului nostru. Este important să înțelegeți și să acceptați această decizie. Deși a fost una dificilă, a fost luată în urma unor evaluări atente și din motive bine întemeiate.

Din nefericire nu mai dispun de timpul necesar pentru a mă ocupa de site. Un asemenea site necesită o implicare destul de mare și prioritățile mele din viața de zi cu zi s-au schimbat în ultimii ani. Timpul este cea mai prețioasă resursă pentru noi toți iar eu am investit suficient timp aici.

Am vrut să las site-ul altcuiva, care să se ocupe de comunitate în continuare dar din păcate nu am cui să-l las. ToXiC, cel care urma să îmi ia locul nu mai este printre noi.

Responsabilitatea este mare, avem un număr imens de useri care au și date sensibile ce nu pot fi lăsate pe mâinile oricui. Se pot face abuzuri mari și cine are puterea absolută poate decide orice cu privire la tot ce ține de comunitate, deci evident este nevoie de un om de încredere, capabil dar care să aibă și cunoștințe tehnice foarte avansate pentru a asigura securitatea userilor și buna funcționare a site-ului.
Destul de greu de găsit un asemenea om care să fie integrat aici și să împărtășească aceleași valori și să aibă aceeași dedicare de care v-ați bucurat în ultimii 16 ani.

Am decis că cel mai OK este să închid site-ul decât să risc cu asa ceva.
Îmi pare sincer rău, am investit și eu foarte multă muncă aici și mereu am avut comunitatea în suflet.

În calitate de SysOp vă mulțumesc pentru implicarea voastră activă în comunitatea noastră. Am apreciat profund contribuțiile valoroase, pasiunea pe care ați adus-o și efortul depus. FileList nu ar fi ce este astăzi fără implicarea voastră, a tuturor!

Ce se întâmplă de acum înainte?
Din momentul acesta donațiile sunt închise iar suma pe care o deținem acoperă cheltuielile pentru încă 2-3 luni de zile.
În acest timp vă puteți încă bucura de site, puteți descărca ce aveți nevoie de aici și puteți să vă postați mesajul de rămas bun în topic.
După ~3 luni, undeva prin ianuarie 2024, site-ul se va închide definitiv.

Dear ones,
I'm sorry to have to make this announcement, but this is where our tracker comes to an end. It is important that you understand and accept this decision. Although it was a difficult one, it was taken after careful evaluation and for good reasons.

Unfortunately, I no longer have the time to run the site. A site like this requires quite a lot of commitment and my priorities in everyday life have changed in recent years. Time is the most precious resource for all of us and I have invested enough time here.

I wanted to leave the site to someone else, who would take care of the community in the future, but unfortunately I don't have anyone to leave it to. ToXiC, the one who was going to take my place is no longer with us.

This is quite the responsibility, we have a large number of users who also have sensitive data that cannot be left in anyone's hands. Abuses can be made and whoever has absolute power can decide anything regarding everything related to the community, so obviously a reliable, capable person is needed who also has very advanced technical knowledge to ensure the security of our users and proper functioning of the site.
It is quite difficult to find such a person who is integrated here and shares the same values and has the same dedication that you have enjoyed for the last 16 years.

I decided that the best thing to do is to close the site rather than risk something like this.
I'm truly sorry, I've also put a lot of work into this and I've always had the community at heart.

As a SysOp I thank you for your active involvement in our community. I deeply appreciated the valuable contributions, the passion you brought and the effort you put in. FileList would not be what it is today without the involvement of all of you!

What happens from now on?
From this moment on, donations are closed and the amount we have covers expenses for the next 2-3 months.
During this time you can still enjoy the site, download what you need from here and post your goodbye message in the thread.
After ~3 months, sometime around January 2024, the site will be closed permanently.
